The Niwaki GR Pro secateurs are hand-forged in Sanjõ, a city in Japan traditionally known for its blacksmiths.
The blades are KA70 carbon steel which allows a precise edge, chunky catch at the bottom and the strong spring gives reassuring functionality. Generally used for everyday pruning and to keep them in good shape for the next time we recommend you them clean with Crean Mate and Camellia Oil, and sharpen with a Niwaki #1000 stone every few uses.
